Hotel Bologna

Turin Center

Hotel Bologna, in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II , is a landmark for anyone travelling to Turin.

A fine 19th century building in front of the Porta Nuova railway station, boasting a privileged position for ease of travel around the city.

It overlooks the majestic “Corso Vittorio” (as the people of Turin call it), which runs through part of the city for 4.2 km as far as Valentino Park, and is a stone's throw from Via Roma, the hub of the Turin shopping world, which runs from the Porta Nuova railway station as far as Palazzo Reale e Palazzo Madama, passing through Piazza San Carlo and Piazza Castello.

The railway station and the Air Terminal for Caselle airport are just a few minutes away, as is the metro line 1 (Re Umberto and Porta Nuova stops along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II) and numerous urban and suburban bus and tram lines. Other places of interest, such as the Reggia di Venaria, the Lingotto exhibition hall, the Pala Alpitour (or Olympic Palasport), the Grand Turin Olympic Stadium (formerly City Stadium), and the Juventus Stadium are all easily reachable by public transport.

Between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the most illustrious guest of the Hotel was Giovanni Giolitti, a prominent politician at that time, and five times President of the Council of the Reign of Italy.

Hotel Bologna is an ideal vantage point for guests, who can enjoy a stunning view of this City-Lounge, dotted with historic squares, Baroque buildings and Romanesque and Renaissance churches that evoke the royal past of the capital city of the Piedmont region.
